How to earn your beads in art class…….
After you have completed the first 4 drawing lessons you may take the Drawing Level One test.
It is an open book test.
After successfully completing the test you will receive your first set of beads on a lanyard that clips to
the top of your drawing pad. There will be additional tests as you pass different levels of achievement.
You may also earn beads for answering special challenge questions which may appear on tests or
can be requested individually.
These will always involve some work outside of class researching and answering the question.
Beads can be earned by winning an award for art that is produced during this class.
There will be different beads to signify first, second, and third places, as well as other special awards.
Examples of shows include….County and State Fairs, Southside Art League Student Show, Ethos Show in Franklin, etc.
There are also special art projects that you can complete to earn beads.
You will receive a list of these in your class folder.
You will also receive a green bead each time you complete a drawing or painting project.
